Disney Legacy | °o° | 1.2

So here's the deal with this part: I got ahead of myself. At the time that I'm writing this, I've already played well into 1.4. And I didn't keep great notes on gameplay during 1.2 like I did for 1.3 So... this part is going to be more of a summary, k? A quick bring-you-up-to-speed sort of thing.

Walt talks Sorcerer Mickey and, apparently, that sort of thing works for Kaylynn because before long...

Walt continues skilling because I have some sort of obsession with getting my hands on EVERY SINGLE PROMOTION I can AS FAST AS I CAN. It's not even his LTW... But there he is, skilling away in little blue sockies anyway.

And here's Kaylynn who wanders the "house" (neighborhood) in a bed sheet, lol.

You go, Seahorse Mom!

And this seems to be the next picture I took. LOL. Apparently nothing important happened in the past three days. (Does anyone else find that happen during legacies? It goes slower during the dating/marriage, and then once you get onto having kids, all of a sudden you go from two sims to TEN?! A slight exaggeration, but, not much...)

It's a boy!! I debated doing the thing where each generation of kids gets a letter of the alphabet and they all have to be named a Disney character starting with that letter. But honestly, I've played so many like that it seemed boring. I thought about doing one letter per kid, too, but that didn't seem exciting, either.

So instead I made an exciting, dumb decision and started naming the kids after the lands in Disneyland. Because, you know, there's just so many -- a whole EIGHT -- and they make such GREAT baby names.

Anyway, meet Frontier.

He, of course, gets a cool Western-themed nursery.

And then apparently the next time I cared was when he was growing up. Haha.

Ehhh...

A quick makeover and one censor-blur-remover-hack later, we can check out what Frontier really looks like. He's actually sorta cute. Sorta generic, but cute.

Yeah, I don't even know when they made this one... But here's a frozen Kaylynn and her brand new crooked baby... wait for it... Land.

No, I didn't name them Frontier and Land on purpose. A split second after doing it, I realized if I was going to use those names then they should definitely not be done in succession. However, it is what it is. Frontier Disney and Land Disney (also a mistake; also dumb).

The Disneys get their first walls! Because everyone keeps freezing and I got sick of waiting for the game to catch up to all their pale transitions.

But not a roof. Obviously.

Also, this is Frontier. Apparently he grew up. (And is still cute.)

Land as a toddler. (Cute.)

Frontier (now a child) and Land. And you can see the awesome construction I've started to make an awesome Haunted Mansion inspired house for the Disneys.

(Why, yes, those columns were a responsible financial decision! $500 a piece!)

Then this happened...

So this happened... (They took the palm tree of love, btw.)

I don't remember making him, either...

I'm sorry to say that the name I finally went with was... SQUARE... as in New Orleans...

The one-room-house structure means everyone is rejected to the front lawn while anyone bathes in the Splash Mountain tub.

SEAHORSE MOM!! She's my favorite to watch around the house.

If lightning starts your super cool Haunted Mansion inspired house on fire, don't worry. Just call Walt. He'll be right there in his blue sockies.

I DO remember making this one.

Square all grown up... I mean, what can you really expect from a child named Square anyway?

We get rooms!

And so life continues on in the fake, tiki-lit mansion...

I'm happy with what Kaylynn brings to the genetic table. Both boys (Frontier on the left, Land on the right -- when did he grow up?? Oh, yeah, I DON'T KNOW!) look super Walty. It's actually kind of cute that they have a family resemblance. Sims is fake.

And then Walt gets a promotion against a background of his well-loved hot tub and stinky bottles that are left over from when I demolished their one-room house and moved it over and up onto a foundation.

Money in my pocket?

Bills that need to be paid?

Walls that need to be constructed??

Check out the next chapter to see what responsible financial decision I forgo the boring options for.
